About
D. terrelli or Dunkleosteus was one of the earliest fish in the fossil record to have notable jaws. While they are fascinating carnivores and evolutionarily significant, these evolutionary giants are often overlooked in the public eye in favor of dinosaurs or the mega fauna of the most recent ice age. This poster is intended to draw attention to a museum exhibit and to share information on these ancient fish. The coloration was modeled after other large aquatic carnivores, particularly great white sharks and sturgeons.
